1. At least 18 years of age
  2. Desire, willingness and ability to work with children 8-17
  3. Willingness and ability to work with adults
  4. Ability to lead activities and assist in leading activities
  5. Ability to accept guidance and supervision
  6. Current CPR and First Aid certifications is desirable

General Responsibilities:

To help prep, set up, run and take down activities at camp

Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Prep and organize materials and supplies for activities.
  2. Lead and supervise daily Quest Zones and other activities.
  3. Plan and lead an elective.
  4. Maintain the safety of campers and staff during activities.
  5. Take down and put away supplies in an organized way.
  6. Final clean up at camp

Essential Functions:

  1. Communicate effectively to enforce safety regulations
  2. Ability to communicate and work with groups participating, and provide necessary instructions to campers and staff
  3. Abilities to observe camper behavior, assess its appropriateness, enforce appropriate safety regulations and emergency procedures, and apply appropriate behavior management techniques.
  4. Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards related to the activities.
  5. Physically able to assist campers and/or staff in an emergency situation.
  6. Physically able to participate in camp activities.
  7. Physically able to maneuver throughout camp on own accord.
