1. At least 18 years of age
  2. Desire, willingness and ability to work with children 8-17
  3. Willingness and ability to work with adults
  4. Ability to lead activities and assist in leading activities
  5. Ability to accept guidance and supervision.
  6. Current CPR and First Aid certifications is desirable

General Responsibility:

To ensure that the campers’ needs are met

Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise campers in their daily activities.
  2. Ensure the health and safety of each camper.
  3. Engage campers in participating camp activities
  4. Assist the campers in their cabin and camp chores.
  5. Reinforce the camp rules and policies.

General Responsibility:

Participate in camp programs

Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in daily Quest Zones activities.
  2. Engage campers during Team Games.
  3. Actively participate in camp programs.
  4. Assist an elective.
  5. Help final clean up at camp.

Essential Functions:

  1. Communicate effectively to enforce safety regulations.
  2. Ability to communicate and work with groups participating, and provide necessary instructions to campers and staff.
  3. Abilities to observe camper behavior, assess its appropriateness, enforce appropriate safety regulations and emergency procedures, and apply appropriate behavior management techniques.
  4. Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards related to the activities.
  5. Physically able to assist campers and/or staff in an emergency situation.
  6. Physically able to participate in camp activities.
  7. Physically able to maneuver throughout camp on own accord.
